Task Description:
This week for Genomics we had to watch a couple of videos that explained what DNA is. After we watched those videos we had to create something to show what we learn't/understood about it.

Museum trip!!

On the first of November Pt England school, Team 5 got the opportunity to visit the Auckland museum with KPWG!! This day was extremely exciting as we arrived and got split into group's. And as we arrived we we're able to have the sight of sculptures.

This day all started with a bus ride to the Auckland museum. Once we got there we meet 46 helper's from KPMG, Not to long after all the museum rules we're set we got put in our museum group's with a helper from KPMG.

During this day we visited all floors of the museum and looked at old thing's from the past. And different sculpture's that we're throughout the whole museum, My favourite part of the museum was rolling down the hill, Also the winter garden.

My favourite part in the winter garden was looking at all the different flower's. And also going on a bush walk in the winter garden with people from team 5 that I saw at the winter garden. Also from here and there on our bus ride's they we're also both amazingly clingy.

On behalf of team 5 we would like to say a big thank you to  KPMG for your help and our tour's, Thank you to all our teacher's.

What is rubbish

We all need to look after  our pace and planet we need to stop throwing everything on the ground it is not okay for the birds and the animal.

On the first day of spring september the 1st we had our cross country day. I woke up at 7:00 clock and got ready for school I remember that I had to get a change of clothes. For our cross country day. So what I said to my mum was. Mum I need black shorts and a yellow t-shirts. So she gave me the things that I needed for cross country .

When I got to school we had morning tea and then we had to get changed to run. All the class's year 1 - 8 had to leave there class at 12: 30. The year ones had to run down and Against the fence and then through the playground and then through the finish line.  Next was the year two’s  and also they had to run at the same thing as the year one’s. After the rum they got to get a Sausage sizzle too.

Then it was our turn to run all the way down to the beach and back to school and also we had to run through the park and then through  finish line and get a drink as well. And I was so scared to run but I run anyway. Also my mum and dad were there to Support me as well as my brothers.

Conclusion :

After I ran I was so hot and my legs were sore. I was so sad because my other friend got over heated. And one was injured. And we had to run through the mud like soldiers. But anyway I was really proud of myself because I tried my best.

Chubby Bunny Challenge

What would you do if you did the chubby bunny at school?

Today Ms Scanlan said that I have a surprise for you's and it was called the chubby bunny Challenge. Today A Boy Named Kurtas who did the chubby bunny challenge with me and he lost the challenge so he had to wear a bunny suit. But it was supposed to be Tatiana. And also I did the chubby bunny challenge with this boy named Kurtas and we only got to about 6 or even more then I think.

The Rule's:

Today we did the Chubby bunny challenge and there were Four people that got chosen. And the loser had to wear a fluffy bunny suit. And there was a boy that stuffed his mouth with marshmallows. Also someone had to wear the fluffy bunny suit and it was so cute it was pink and fluffy. And the first two people that played first was me and Kurtas. And we got to about 6 or even more then I think. I got to much marshmallows in my mouth I had to swallow them. And then it was William and Tatiana. Tatiana lost that round for the girls. And I lost for the girls to so sorry girls but the boys won that round this term.

Kurtas had to wear the suit. And it looked like a sheep to me. But it looks like a fluffy bunny to the other people. But miss Scanlan said "who doesn't want to wear the suit" And Kurtas Said me so then miss. Did a trick and she said you don't want to wear it. So you are going to wear it Anyway's.

The coolest part was when Kurtas had to wear the suit. For the rest of the class. Two people had to much marshmallows in there mouth that they could not say fluffy bunny anymore. Also some of the Marshmallows fell out of there mouth's.
