Book Review!

WALT: condense key ideas and rephrase in my own words!

Story:Pinata Day
By: Jill MacGregor
Story Review by: Skye

A Pinata is made of card boxes, balloons, cartons. They are used for special occasion. They make Pinatas for Birthdays and special occasions. All ages will enjoy smashing the Pinata. Inside a pinata is sweets, Chocolates. I agree that people use Pinatas for different occasions. Making a Pinata is hard because you have to wait a few days to decorate the pinata because of the wet glue.

ASB Polyfest 2019

Team 5 had a fun trip to ASB polyfest it was years 7 - 8. Well as you have heard we attended ASB polyfest. This week we went to poly fest on Wednesday the 13th of march. We had 5 groups of boys and girls. I was in pod 5. Room 5 had 3 helpers. I was with Miss Haare. We had a group of 7 girls.  There we a lot of stores. We were waiting in a line for about 20 minutes. We visited different stages. The Maori stage was really packed.

We saw this yellow stand. We all got attracted to it so we wanted to find out what it was. We all ran over. We all saw every one walk away from the stand with a tattoo. We all were so excited to get one. We all got a moko on our chin. Mokos are for boys and girls. Even if you are not Maori you are always allowed to participate.
